Sourcebook: Imperial Awards

	High Imperial Cross This medal is awarded at the highest level to officers who have displayed exceptional loyalty and dedication to the Empire. These officers have shown consistent, exceptional, and innovative service in all duties. These officers have glorified the Empire and it is by their service that it will endure.
	Grand Order of the Emperor This medal is awarded by the Lord Admiral on his birthday to a single officer in the Empire who he believes possesses the essence of the New Order. This medal constitutes entrance into a fraternal order, members of which are highly respected in all manners of Imperial functions.
	High Medal of Honor This medal, often served posthumously, is presented to an officer who willfully risked his life in the face of impossible odds in order to preserve the Empire. These officers are true heroes of the New Order.

	Medal of Honor This medal is awarded to an officer who is wounded in the service of the Empire but accomplished their duty despite the injury.
	Palpatine Crescent This medal is awarded for officers who put their life in danger to insure essential intelligence is delivered to their commanders.
	Legion of Combat This medal is awarded to an officer who proves himself victorious in five combat operations. Additional awards are indicated by crossed scimitars. Copper Scimitar - 10 Victories Iron Scimitar - 20 Victories Silver Scimitar - 50 Victories
	Medal of Security This medal is awarded to an officer for protection of an Imperial asset in the face on an enemy.
	Order of the Vanguard This medal is awarded for longstanding service to the Empire. Each year that an officer has dedicated to the Empire is indicated by a small gold star.
	Gold Star This medal is awarded by a Level O officer for benefiting the Empire in an exceptional way. The introduction of a new idea that proves beneficial to the Empire is often the reason for this award.
	Silver Star This medal is awarded by a Level 2 officer for service above and beyond the call of duty in a specifically assigned task.
	Bronze Star Awarded by a Level 4 officer, this medal is presented for extraordinary service in their general duties. This will typically be an award for aiding these officers in their duties or performing an essential or innovative service to the unit in which they are assigned.

	Medal of Allegiance This medal is awarded to an officer who has helped High Command in some notable way.
	Medal of Enlistment An officer earns this award by bringing other officers into the service of the Empire. Blue Cross - 3 recruits Green Cross - 6 recruits White Cross - 9 recruits Silver Cross - 12 recruits Gold Cross - 15 recruits
	Medal of Tactics This medal is awarded to an officer who has been rated to instruct others in combat tactics. Red Hammer - Starship Tactics Green Hammer - Ground Assault Tactics Blue Hammer - Starfighter Tactics
	Iron Star This medal signifies exceptional performance in a combat situation.
	Commendations A Commendation of Excellence is awarded to an officer who has displayed innovation in combat. A Commendation of Service is awarded to an officer for volunteering for a special assignment. A Commendation of Bravery is awarded to an officer who has shown exceptional valor in combat. A Commendation of Loyalty is awarded to an officer who has displayed tremendous dedication.
