Capsule: Originally intended to be a new fast attack frigate to serve in Imperial skirmish lines, capability studies soon proved that the Wrix crossed the blurry line between frigate and cruiser. Twelve extremely powerful engines make the Wrix-class Light Cruiser the fastest warship in the Imperial arsenal and its small size hides an array of the same modern weapon systems as found on the Imperial III-class Star Destroyers and the Leviathan-class Heavy Cruisers. Its crew enjoy less than spacious quarters, as its dense hull is broken only by the hanger, weapons, and the bridge viewports. Named after a powerful feline predator, its sleek dark profile make it an ideal candidate for future stealth upgrades. To add to its multiple roles, a towed sensor array can be easily attached for long range recon missions.
