Vonlin, John

Background: Vonlin was born on Coruscant as a only child from a family with a history with the Empire from its start. His father and Grand Father had both severed in the Empire. His Grand Father seeing its founding and start, and his father carrying it through to see its decline with the death of the Emperor. The family saga leaves off with John Vonlin who hopes to have the part of seeing it rise again.

With his father and all of his uncles he had no choice really but to join the Empire, but he won't have had it another way. From the stories his uncles and father told at family reunions of space battles and planetary attacks. He formed the vision of the Imperial life and spent his youth, day dreaming of duking it out with rebels and playing with Star Destroyer models. So it was no surprise when he joined the Imperial Academy on Coruscant at age 17.

He did well through his studies and made many friends at the Academy, some who were related to him as cousins or distantly in other ways. Forming a fun sort of competition between them to be better then the others.

After Graduation he was sent to the Academy orbiting Elrood. Where a staged attacked took place to test his skills. He succeeded after fire fights with fake rebels and taking many prisoner. He was then given a real mission. To hunt out a nest of pirates in the Elrood sector and destroy them. As he exited hyperspace his ships were immediately fired upon but he remained calm and took back control of the battle. In the end he succeeded again and now the future waits for his next accomplishments...or failures....

Personality: Vonlin differs from most young officers. He shares the same eagerness as them but likes to think more long term and practices the methods of patience. Vonlin does not except less or more from others then he does from himself, but a equal amount.

He Believes in second chances but not third chances which says a lot about him. Example: he believes mistakes are possible but to make the same one twice or not learn from it is completely idiotic. He can be firm at times but only when it calls for. What may be a downside or may not is he is also easily excited when it comes to things involving the Empire. Or it could simply just be true Imperial Patriotism at its best.

Objectives: Vonlin seeks a High Rank in the Imperial Navy. And to see the rebel scum crushed. Finally to have the Empire regain full control and order.
