Background:
Not much is
know about RX-304. Some say he is the last of a clone group of specially
designed, trained and made elite killing group by the empire himself, Some
say he was a young criminal an imperial officer found and trained. No
Record can be found on him, and what are, are rumored to need the highest
level to read.
In Reality RX-304 was found at a very young age and placed into an
Imperial run Orphanage. No Records was keep about his Parents because it
wasn't considered to be important. At a very early age he learned to know
what being Imperial meant and how it would always take care of he. He
looked up to his instructors as parent figures not knowing any better. The
Orphanage was designed to mold young minds to join the Military and the
service the Empire loyally. This Operation was started shortly after the
senate was disbanded by the Emperor. It was a double edged knife, in one
hand the program was used to solve a growing problem in the Galaxy of
children without parent and guardians to take care of them after they die
in a battle or where executed for crimes against the Empire, and at the
same time it was used to strength the military when the children become of
age to join.
RX-304 was no exception to that, his training and brain washing started
early because of the young age he had entered the Orphanage by the time he
was 15 he was already trained in many forces of combat, imperial law,
military structure and discipline. This was used inside of the Orphanage
also not sure for use when they join the Imperial military. For when the
Emperor thought of this he thought of everything. All the Children Where
given numbers as they got older, they where promoted, as people left and
came the lower numbers would take charge of the higher ones, making a
virtual command Structure with in the Orphanage. This meant there didn't
have to be a lot of staff and the lower numbered children would in
essences teach the higher ones. Giving many of the children a drive to do
better in order to raise in rank. RX-304 wanted nothing then to make the
adults at the orphanage proud of him, he didn't do it for the rank but the
for the love he thought he felt for doing good and being told so. RX-304
Rush up the Ranks quickly, being the youngest number 1 in the Orphanage he
was living. Because of his young age of when he made that rank he also had
to work much harder to keep it until he would be of age to join the
military.
The orphanage was run like a military collage, uniforms, Survival trips,
Community services. It was on one of these trips where RX-304 not only
showed his Guardians his loyalty but also where the young man first
learned to kill. Under his command a troop of 12 boys where stationed in
the Elrood Bazaar in order to help the Bazaar Security guards catch local
youth coning and pick pocking the tourists. RX-304 with the watchful eye
of Bazaar Security dressed up his group in plain clothing and sent them
around the Bazaar to interact with the local youth in order to get their
trust and find any wrong doers. The night was going will with many
arrests, when Security lost sight of the youngest boy, none of the
Security cams could find him. RX-304 quickly left the security station to
find the missing boy, going to the last know location of the boy he could
hear talking from a small ally between the shops, RX-304 peeked around the
corner to see 2 youths confronting the young boy. They called him a spy
and had said that he had lead to a number of their friends being arrested
and that this boy was going to pay. RX-304 stepped from around the corner.
"Let the boy go and come with me, Your under arrest." RX-304 said with a
straight face. The young boy came running to him and hide behind him.
"And your going to Arrest us are you?" The older man said pulling a
switchblade from his back pocket. The other man Cracked his knuckles
trying to Intimidate RX-304.
The Boy with the knife made the first move, he ran up to RX-304 and drive
his knife towards RX-304, He easily side stepped the weak attack and
brought his fist to meet the charging man's face, With a bone cracking
nose blood sprayed out of the man's nose, RX-304 had little time to
consider what had happened seeing the other man enraged with his friends
pain. The man's first swing went wide but the other hit RX-304 square on
the shoulder, almost knocking over. Before RX-304 had time to recover the
man came again hard with the next volley of swings. RX-304 blocked the
first fist and then the next, he could see in the corner of his eye the
first man getting up, his left hand on his face but the right still
holding the knife in his white knuckles.
RX-304 quickly kicked down onto the knifeless man's lower leg, The bone
snapped under the kick, the leg bend the wrong way as the man's weight
came down on his now shattered leg. The man crumbled to the ground in
pain. At just about the same time he felt the knife dig deep into his
side. RX-304 turned bring his knee towards the still kneeling man. The
knife painfully twisted into his side as he turned but he didn't scream or
show any sign of pain. His knee meet the man's head hard throwing him back
to the ground, RX-304 flowing the man's movements down to the ground
landing on the man's chest with his other knee pinning him down. As if to
move the pain to the one that did it he brought his Fist down hard in the
man's face over and over. He lost all sense of time in his moment of rage,
it was only when the Bazaar security officers pulled him off the bloody
corpse did he noticed the damage he had choosed to the man. The man was
clearly beaten to death.
When he returned to the orphanage and he had his wounds looked after, his
guardians asked him how he had felt about killing another person, this had
been the first time they had been able to ask those types of questions to
a child under their care, they wanted to see how their training had helped
and how it may have effected their training of future soldiers. RX-304
just shrugged and told them he felt nothing for the man's passing or even
his rule in it's shorted life. He shrugged it off as he did the pain of
the knife. It was an effect of him performing his Duty and had no out come
to the objective. He had saved his underling and had upheld the law. His
guardians where overjoyed at his answers, and this made him very happy
inside, he had pleased them.
At the age of 18 RX-304 left the Orphanage and joined the Imperial Army,
His first tour of duty found him on the Derilyn under General Hul. RX-304
was a low level security officer stationed in Palpatine The Imperial Navy
Head quarters on the planet.
Well most of the troopers in his division would normally sleep or play
games on their late hour duty shift RX-304 would not. He checked
everything, keep detailed logs of everything that happened, His stations
was one of the tightest ones on the whole base. One late night he noticed
one of the perimeter senses was giving a funny reading back to the
Security station, most people would have just dismissed it. He quickly
made a note of it and reported it to his Commanding officers. He then told
his CO that he was going out to check the sensor.
The Sensor was located deep in some bushes along the northern fence not to
far from one of the gates into the base. He crawled on his stomach he
cursed to himself what a mess he was making of his uniform, when he got
the sense he found it all worth it. Along the shaft holding the sensor up
was a number of loss wires and a device, Searching the sensor more he
noticed another device higher up at the Sensor itself. Investigating more
closely he found that the lower device was a bomb, not very powerful but
enough to kill him if it went off the second device was a jammer, it was
sending false readings to his station but it was in a pattern with he
detected. Still lying under the bush he reported in to his CO on his
findings. The Base became a buzz of activity. From where he was laying he
could make out a repulsor vehicle moving towards the gate, the sensors
should pick it up easily but for some reason he couldn't see the
stormtroopers moving towards it. "The other sensors most also be jammed."
He thought. He took out his switchblade he had from his orphanage days and
using the training from the Imperial army he worked to take the bomb off
the sensor. RX-304 could now make out the Vehicle better, it was a flat
bed truck used to transport building segments. But this night it was
transporting 12 "Friends of Paran" RX-304 heard an explosion on the other
side of the base. Nothing large maybe the size of the bomb he was working
on removing… Then came another much closer now. With no time to waste he
just pulled the Device off the sensor, pulling the jammer and everything
else with it. In a split second he noticed it didn't explode in his hands,
he quickly crawled out from under the bush, now only being 20 meters from
the truck that was moving down the road quickly. He hurt another explosion
as another sensor blow into a million pieces. He had already worked out
that this was nothing more then a Distraction to throw off the enemy and
to do some minor damage, if he was right the sensor on this side should
explode soon then on the East or west side to draw the Attention from the
moving vehicle. He Ran to the Truck and just as he heard the sensor on the
other side of the road explode he throw his bomb into the back of the
Truck, the people turned to fire at him just as the bomb exploded at their
feet. RX-304 was thrown back from the explosion. When he awaken a medical
driod was tending to his wounds, the Truck was on fire with bodies hanging
from it and blood everywhere, one of the Stormtroopers standing around it
asked what happened. Another replied "We just got the sensor by the north
fence working for some reason and we saw this guard pretty much single
handle take out this terrorist attack." It had seemed that when he removed
the bomb he also removed the jammer. This Commanding officer had watched
what RX-304 had done. The very next day he got a transmission from Captain
Pryl that she wished to see him.
When they had meet she had explained she was staying at the base for the
time being will her Ship was being refitted and that after she
interrogated the driver who lived she found out she was the Target of the
attack. She being one of the two Imperial Star Destroyer captains
stationed in the system. RX-304 couldn't help noticed that the Captain was
looking at him differently, like she was searching for something in him.
The Next morning he found himself Transferred on board the Thunderflare
and promoted to a stormtrooper commander. It was the first time he could
remember smiling.. it was inside of his helmet so no one could see but he
was very happy.
One night shortly after being stationed on the Imperial Star Destroyer
RX-304 was invited to the Captains Private quarters, When the Door opened
he found the room dimly lite, Captain Pryl was wearing a long black dress,
she had her hair down. RX-304 was still wearing his Stormtrooper uniform
she couldn't see his confused look on his face. "Ma'am?" RX-304 said.
"I sense something in your I have been looking for a long time." She said
with a smile. RX-304 Stood confused at attention. "I feel the force in
you, I'm willing to teach you." RX-304 heard in his mind in her voice but
her lips didn't move. She walked up to him and removed his helmet. "Do you
want to learn the force?" He heard in his mind, how was she talking to him
with out speaking. He thought. Tanda could sense his confusion now that
the helmet was removed and she could see his eyes. She took a deep breath
knowing this was going to be a long night. It did turn out to be a long
night Where Tanda taught RX-304 the basic understanding of the force How
to Control and Sense things That normal people can't, how to heal and
resist damage in combat to even heal yourself. Tanda was planning on
Trying to seduce RX-304 to let her train him but found shortly in her
teaching of the force that she could just order him to do what she liked,
even in her private quarters he was still a stormtrooper before anything
else. She couldn't stop smiling at her luck.
Whenever Captain Pryl could she would take time to teach her Student the
ways of the force, she was very proud of her new pet and planned to keep
it as her ace against Zed. But she knows she had to keep this Stormtrooper
a security from General Hul's or he would want this trooper for himself.
After a lot of manipulation and blackmailing she was able to have the
Troopers Records deleted, she was also able to get her hands on a Storm
commando armor and equipment from under the General's nose To Equip RX-304
has her personal body guard, she wasn't about to loss this prize.
Tanda took great pleasure in testing RX-304's loyalty to her and the
empire, and to fill the trooper with the power of the Dark side. On one
occasion The Thunderflare Intercepted a Cargo ship leaving Derilyn. When
they boarded the ship we where meet with minor resistance as the crew of
the ship made a barracked and held up behind it blocking the way to the
Cargo hold. Then the Boarding Team had secured the ship Captain Pryl and
RX-304 boarded to check out the hold themselves. As they stand over on the
Catwalk looking down into the hold they both could sense over 150 young
beings, humans, aliens all looking scared hidden in the cargo containers.
It turned out that the Friends of Paran had smuggled the orphans onto this
transport and where sending them off world. Captain Pryl looked down at
the containers then to her right where RX-304 stood. "Kill them all. Then
Destroy the ship." RX-304 lowered his blaster rifle and started shooting.
Like shooting Mynocks in a barrel. Captain Pryl watched as the Beings life
forces faded and RX-304 coldly killed them as they where killed in what
they believed to be their safe hiding places.
Another time Tanda tested RX-304's combat skills, She invited Zal Tag
Ah'zar Th'Trar To her ship. A noble Coynite warrior she had used a number
of times to remove some unwanted trouble makers. She was sitting in her
chair behind her desk, RX-304 to her right. Like most Coynite was in full
battle armor and had his sword oh his side. The Coynite Eyed RX-304 not
having meet the Trooper before and wondered why the Captain had him there,
she normally meet him one on one. "Your services are no longer needed Zal
Tag Ah'zar Th'Trar." She said drawing a blaster from under her desk. In a
blink of an eye Zal Tag Ah'zar Th'Trar had drawn his Sat'skar (Sword).
"How dare you, you af'harl." The Coynite called jumping forward to drive
his sword into the Captain, just before the blade was about to hit home
The Coynite's hand was kicked from RX-304 the sword bite deep into the
chair just above Tanda's shoulder.
Zal Tag Ah'zar Th'Trar let the sword go sensing that the stormtrooper was
his fight. Captain Pryl had planned the meeting to see who was the
stronger one and everyone in the room knows it. Zal Tag Ah'zar Th'Trar
moved into a defensive position waiting to see what the Stormtrooper would
do next. He didn't have to wait long as The stormtrooper jumped into the
Air and brought the back of his foot to the Coynite's head as he did a
round house. Zal Tag blocked the Attack. "Impressive." The Coynite said as
he moved forward to close to distance between the two combative, he
straightened out his hand to drive his claws into the trooper's belly. The
trooper didn't even dodge the attack letting the punch connect. Zal Tag
was shocked to feel the trooper's gloved hand hit him on the side of his
helmet, sending him reeling back, being stunned. The Coynite couldn't
figure out how the Trooper could have with stood his attack he wasn't even
stunned. Captain Pryl smiled knowing her Training was taking place in the
fight. RX-304 had used the Resist Stun power she had taught him not more
then a couple of days before. Zal Tag Ah'zar Th'Trar draw his D'skar
(Small dagger)."Draw your weapon." Zal Tag Ah'zar Th'Trar ordered.
Strapped horizontally along his back was RX-304 combat knife. Placing his
hand behind his back he pulled out the monster blade. The Coynite made the
first move, making a fast high Slash attack then zinging back down with a
low cross slash. RX-304 was able to block the First attack easily but
didn't see the second attack coming, the Blade cut into his chest plate
but again didn't slow the Trooper down any. RX-304 replied with his knee
against the Coynite's left hip, off balancing the large Coynite. Tanada
watched the fighting closely. She was sure her force powers did the right
things but she had never been able to test them, but now here was RX-304
using the powers and they where working perfectly.
Steel hit steel as the Daggers ring against each other, each attack was
countered or deflected off the thick armor. Zal Tag Ah'zar Th'Trar punched
toward the Trooper's head with was easily blocked, it was a fade, the
Dagger come from the side, finding the joint location of RX-304 armor just
under his arm. Captain Pryl know this could be a fatal wound that not even
the force could help with, She jumped to her feet with her blaster in her
hand, she may have to face off against the Coynite after all. Zal Tag
Ah'zar Th'Trar smiled knowing the deathly wound he had done and that the
weak captain was about to follow. RX-304 dropped down to one knee holding
his side where the dagger had bite. Blood ran down his side. The coynite
turned to face the Captain. "So your new champion isn't as tough as you
had thought, are you ready to die af'harl?" Tanda cursed her inpatients to
test her new toy, she looked pass The coynite at her Stormtrooper raising
to his feet. Zal Tag Ah'zar Th'Trar could see Tanda's express change from
fear to glee, before he turned around he know that the Trooper was
standing up to his amazement.
"It seems my Champion is tougher then we both believed. Are you ready to
die?" Captain Pryl says with a smile. RX-304 stood before the Coynite, his
left arm hanging lip at his side, the dagger his is right. Zal Tag Ah'zar
Th'Trar was very impressed with this Trooper he almost wished he could see
the warriors face before he killed him. The coynite thinking The trooper
was weak from the injury moved forward to finish RX-304 off, with amazing
speed RX-304 kicked the feeble attack to the side and Bashed his forehead
against the Coynite's. Zal Tag Ah'zar Th'Trar stumbled back on his feet,
before he could recover RX-304 came with another high kick, hitting the
Coynite square in the chest, then another kick landed, the coynite lossing
his footing falls back against the Desk, laying with his back on the desk.
He looked up just to see the Long dagger come down into his face. Captain
Pryl stood back looking at her desk, the Coynite was laying dead on her
desk, the dagger smashed to the hilt into the Being's face pinning him
onto the desk. RX-304 Stood there for a second then Crumbled to his knees
as the force power left him and the pain Rushed through his body. "Medic
to my ready room now." Captain Pyrl called as she hit he comm link on her
desk next to the Dead Coynite. She looked at RX-304 in Amazement, She had
never imagined that the force would be so powerful if it was used in the
right way, she wondered if she could have taken on the Coynite using the
force as RX-304 did.
One night when RX-304 reported to Tanda's quarters for training he found
the captain still in her uniform Studying a datapad. "It seems someone is
going to try to unite the warlords and re build the Empire." She said more
to herself knowing the RX-304 don't care about matters like that. "I know
General Hul would never give up his power, I already know that Akal will
side with the General. This could be my change to for greatness as long as
this new Lord Admiral can take out the General. As long as I stay here the
general will just use me for his uses." She talked to herself, tapping the
datapad on her other hand.
The next day Captain Pryl and a number of other captains joined forces
with the Lord Admiral. RX-304 remembers the meeting well. Captain Pryl was
ordered to report to Colossus Lord Admiral Mallagant's Flagship. The
shuttle landed in the huge hanger, when the ramp was lowered The captain
and RX-304 found themselves Greeted by 2 Imperial Royal guardsmen. Either
had ever seen the one of the elite Troopers before and where at awe at
there presence. They where lead in silence to the Lord Mallagant's ready
room. The lord Admiral was sitting behind his desk as the two where lead
in. "I asked for the Captain of the Thunderflare, why have you brought
this soldier with you?" He asked. "This Trooper is my personal aid and my
protection, After braking from General Hul's command it's hard to trust
your own crew sometimes. Loyalties are divided." Captain Pryl said with a
charming smile. The Lord Admiral sit back in his chair, letting the lies
fall where they may. The Lord Admiral wasn't a fool. But he did sense
something in both the officers standing before him. He raised an eyebrow.
"I sense you are both Force users of minor ability." Tanda was insulted,
what did this man know of the force she had mastered it on her own and had
taught this trooper all she know. "Then you don't know anything of the
force." The Lord Admiral said calmly. Tanda took a step back. "You read my
mind?" "A minor trick for someone that understand the force as well as I
do. Now sit and listen to the new order." Lord Admiral Said, Tanda
couldn't help but sit down because of just his voice was so commanding.
RX-304 stood quietly as the Lord Admiral explained the new order and what
they where about to do to retake the Galaxy in the name of order and
peace. When he was finished he dismissed the captain. "Before you go."
Both RX-304 and Captain Pryl stopped before the door. "I'm willing to
train you in the force." Captain Pryl turned around with a smile. Before
she could reply Viktor stopped her, "but it comes at a price. I want the
Stormtrooper." Tanda looked over to the Trooper to her left and then back
at the Lord Admiral. "He is ours." She said leaving the room and her
champion behind with the lord Admiral.
The Lord Admiral Circled around the Trooper scanning up and down as he
circled. "What is your name trooper?" He asked. "RX-304 Sir." "No your
Real name Soldier." The Lord Admiral pressed not being able to found it in
the Soldier's memories. "I don't have one sir." The soldier replied.
For the next year RX-304 was farther trained in the use of the Force by
Master Kell and the Lord Admiral himself, He is now a Storm commando under
the Lord Admiral. |
