Captain Zamiel
Botow
Executive
Officer (XO): Commander
Hengrad Wexler
Wexler is a man who has grayed before his time. At only thirty-five,
his once black hair is now completely gray. He has steel colored eyes, a
dark complexion and a youthful appearance, other than his hair of course.
He is no-nonsense and cool under pressure, but he lacks the tactical prowess to
command his own vessel.
Weapons Officer: Lt. Commander
Tarsis Greeson
A battle hardened veteran with dark eyes and graying hair. He is all
business and spends most of his off duty time reading weapons manuals and
assisting the engineers with aligning the targeting computers.
Chief of Flight & Vehicle Ops (FVO):
Lieutenant Feldroy Rabine
Newly promoted to his position, Rabine is still getting used to the paperwork
and scheduling that running a ship's fight operations requires. He was
once a skilled pilot, but his TIE Interceptor took a direct hit from an enemy
X-Wing that should have destroyed it. Amazingly, Rabine survived, but he
was deprived of the use of one arm. Although his injury forced him to be
dropped from combat status, he remained in active duty as a shuttle pilot for
six months until he was promoted to this position.
Admiral Alex
Drake
Executive Officer (XO): Commander Nev Brin
Young commander with almost no real Experience despite that fact he has
proven himself more then ones under the Command of Admiral Drake.
Wing
Commander (WC): Wing
Commander Nik Grisam
Like most of the Officers on “Shadow” Nik is also young and has little combat
experience, but has not let the Empire down.
Chief
Engineer: Commander Mikrasis
An Older Verpine
with amazing mechanical Talents, that Admiral Drake himself requested to join
him on Shadow.
Chief
of Security: Commander
Roberts
24 year old, human male.
Stormtrooper
Commander: GT-170
Ranking Stormtrooper officer.
Droid
Technician: Technician Bell
47 year old, human male.
Droid
Technician: Junior Technician
Anderson
17 year old, human female. Graduated top of her class and she names her
droids.
Captain Halis Leevold
Executive Officer (XO): Commander Davis
Typical dedicated Imperial officer. Grew up in the core, parents both Imperial
navy, knows nothing of the life outside Military service. Happy to learn under
various Captains until he earns his own ship.
Helmsman:
Lieutenant Tyrell
Tyrell loved to fly his whole life. Graduate of the Starfighter academy, but
opted to move over the Navy to pilot larger ships. He is one of the few capital
ship pilots willing to make it move like it was a starfighter..or at least a
ship of much smaller size. This quality has kept many of his ships running when
they would otherwise be used as target practice. Unfortunately this quality also
held him back as most Captains did not recognize this as a talent, but instead
as a defect in his training.
Sensor
Officer: Ensign Summers
Communications Officer:
Ensign Mistle
Chief of Flight & Vehicle Ops (FVO):
Lt. Commander Vinsky
-Was never a good pilot, and is jealous of his pilots. But he did have a good
mind for squad based tactics, and his superiors noticed this. He was quickly
promoted to Commander and put in charge of the starfighters on the ship he was
attached to. While he wishes he could fly, he likes being the one to keep his
pilots alive.
Lord Admiral
Viktor Mallagant
Executive Officer (XO): Captain Giles
Norgren
An intimidating man, even though he stands almost shoulder high to everyone
else. He has black eyes and a deep raspy voice. He is completely bald and his
face is marked with many scars; his long years have not been kind to him. He is
the quintessential battle hardened veteran and he demands respect and discipline
from his men. He has the deepest respect and loyalty for Viktor Mallagant, as
Viktor once saved his life.
Operations
Officer (Ops): Commander
Charles Fetzer
A relatively young man who has probably risen to his current rank too
quickly. While he is probably one of the most skilled Star Destroyer Officers in
the fleet, he uncomfortable with ordering his friends around. He is average
height and build with dark blonde hair which he keeps regulation length.
Vice Admiral
Mychael Ng
Executive Officer (XO): Captain Kami Fisher
A 30 year old human female from Corulag (went to the Imperial Academy on
Corulag as well.) 1.7 meters tall with short brown hair. An up and coming
officer. She is talented, intelligent and attractive. She and the Vice Admiral
were classmates at the academy, they’re both the same age, and her family knew
his family very well. So, one could say that they were childhood friends. Vice
Admiral Ng has taken a personal interest in shepherding along her career based
upon her skills. She served briefly as Executive Officer aboard one of the Vice
Admiral’s pet projects and now serves as his flag captain on his flagship. She
is a consummate professional and treats superiors and juniors with equal
respect.
Chief of
Flight & Vehicle Ops (FVO): Wing Commander Marcos Ramio
A 50 year old veteran, competent and experienced with starfighter tactics. He
was trained at Carida and was known for his excellent handling of fighters back
in the early days of the Empire. Now, he is passing on his experience to the
younger pilots of the Imperial remnants and his skills were vied for by many
other captains. Vice Admiral Ng only acquired him as FVO due to his rank over
many of the captains. Ramio is 1.8 meters tall and his once brown hair is now
mostly grey, he has seen a lot of hard service in the Empire’s name from
fighting pirates to surviving the disaster at Endor.
Chief
Engineer: Lt. Commander Puc'o Monty
A master of jury-rigging and damage
control. Unorthodox and eccentric but too competent to dismiss. The 27 year old
Monty is from a backwater world that is always overcast, cold, and generally
unpleasant. As a child he enjoyed working on electronic equipment and was
interested in engineering. Eventually, he joined the Imperial Navy and worked
through the engineering branch until he was assigned as Chief Engineer to Vice
Admiral Ng’s flagship. He’s somewhat ‘round’ but sports a ruddy complexion and
an odd accent.
Captain Caldar
Quinn
Executive Officer (XO):
Commander Ricus Harlew
(Human male from Anaxes, age 29) Harlew is a broody man with a calculating
and standoffish way. He possesses a singular intelligence and mathematical
perspective. He is shortish and gaunt, with dark features. He has a swarthy
complexion, and brunette hair with a well-groomed beard. His dark green eyes
display a fierce cleverness. Usually phlegmatic, he is occasionally provoked
into brutal and cruel verbal outbursts – these reprimands have been known to
leave the unlucky recipient melancholic for several days. Caldar Quinn respects
Harlew, but occasionally there is mute tension between the two. Because of his
demeanour and appearance, the crew have nicknamed him "Black Ric". It is highly
likely Harlew would have achieved line rank by now if he had more charisma and
senior patronage. His service record is excellent.
Weapons Officer:
Lieutenant-Commander Krenton Alvoc
(Human male from Yaga Minor, aged 37) Alvoc is stout in body and spirit, with a bluff manner. His burly physique, pre-mature balding and lined face gives him a gruff appearance. He is quite coarse and tactless at times, but is frank and open with both superiors and juniors. He has a booming voice. Several years ago he received an official reprimand for swearing at a superior officer (he was inebriated at the time, though off-duty). This black mark on his record may be why he has not reached full Commander rank yet. He can be hotheaded and pugnacious, but goes about his duty with gusto and efficiency. Caldar Quinn admires his bravery and dedication.
Comm-Scan Chief: Lieutenant Trinity
Galatea
(Human female from Brentaal, age 25) Galatea has known Caldar Quinn for many
years, even before the Academy. Her career ambitions have largely been aided by
her connexion to the Quinn family. She is relatively inexperienced, but is full
of enthusiasm and drive. She strives very hard to prove herself to her
colleagues. Despite a slightly high forehead and pasty complexion (though with
flushed cheeks), Galatea is quite an attractive woman with an athletic figure.
Her hair is light brown with strange naturally blonde streaks. Sometimes a
subordinate is not totally respectful to her, feeling uncomfortable being
ordered around by a young lady. Galatea's ability to humiliate them later has
soon dulled this problem.
Line Captain
Adoniram Sinan
Executive Officer (XO): Commander Tyrus
Paliot
Human male from Kuat -- born to starship engineers. Age 35. Average height
and weight. Short brown hair, shaven at the sides and back. Blue eyes.
Past duties included serving as Weapons Officer on a carrack cruiser.
Tyrus become very close friends with Captain Sinan as they both found out that
they shared a great many views and opinions on the current state of the empire.
They both enjoyed many a night of sitting in the officer's wardroom, discussing
there opinions on the current state of the Galaxy.
Chief
Engineer:
Lt. Commander Jan Travers
Very tall human female. Age 30. Brown hair and eyes. Travers has two
personalities, one for crises and heavy work, the other for leisure. In a
crisis, she is cool and calm, ready to give orders on the spur of the moment.
Outside of work, she is rarely in a large group, preferring to tinker in
solitude with the ship's weapon systems and cooking her own personal meals in
the officer's wardroom.
Weapons Officer:
Lt. Commander Wilhelm Vahner
Human male. Age 27. Average height and weight. Wavy light-brown hair,
bluish-gray eyes. No distinguishing characteristics save for a leering smile
when not on duty. Born to a family of core world politicians and diplomats. Has
no ambition for ship command -- opted to remain a security and weapons officer
to insult his relatives rather than apply for an operations section command.
Family name is Von Ahner (pronounced "Honor") but started using Vahner after
considerable teasing about his name at the Academy.
Ship's Doctor: Lieutenant
Dyllan Morz
Human male age 39. Average height and weight. Bald. Deep blue eyes. Very
handsome and outgoing hedonist. Often wears various exotic clothing and
intricate headbands when not on duty. Is on his last legs as a Navy officer,
having had charges brought up against him numerous times for insubordination and
unbecoming conduct (one demotion on record and was also held back for one year
at the Academy for having an affair with his instructor)
Wing
Commander (WC): Commander
Alister "Stickman" Tull
Personally commands the ship's TIE squadrons. Human male from Fest. Age:
Thirtyish. Blonde hair and green eyes. Tull is of average height but very
slender. He wears a thin trimmed moustache, drawing attention away from a facial
scar where his face had been sliced open against his cockpit hatch in a crash
landing. Tull loves the speed and excitement of his job. He craves the glory and
honor of battle. Quite ruthless in villain terms. He takes too many risks but
his success record cannot be denied. Quote: "Negative ID on the sensor scan,
Sir, but it blows up real good. Over."
Escort
Carrier Captain (CO): Captain
Badon "Silvereye" Kreel
Doubles as Wing Commander. Tall human male. Age 37. Tall and
powerfully-built; salt-and-pepper hair is kept in a high-and-tight military cut;
left eye is brown; right eye is an emotionless, stainless steel, cybernetic
replacement; scar runs from right eye socket down right jaw line and down his
neck to the shoulder. His uniform is always neatly pressed. He wears a modified
sporting blaster in a military holster tucked into the belt of his uniform.
Badon Kreel was born on the coreworld of Corulag and indoctrinated into SAGroup
at the earliest possible age. As a youth, Badon was an excellent student and an
expert marksman; he captured many awards in SAGroup competitions.
After finishing the Imperial Academy in the top third of his class, Badon
entered the Navy's Starfighter Corps where he continued to distinguish himself.
Assigned to the ISDI Thunderer, Badon amassed 23 kills as a TIE/ln pilot within
his first three years of duty and swiftly found himself in command of the
vessel's fighter wing. His career was almost ended in a fateful sortie against a
superior number of Rebel fighters; Badon lost his right eye as well as his
squadron.
Badon chose to forego reconstructive surgery in favor of keeping the scars as a
badge of honor and as a reminder not to underestimate his enemy. To replace his
eye, the best cyberneticists on Corulag were enlisted to build his customized
silver orb. Bearing the nickname of "Silvereye", he returned to duty.
Assigned then to the ISDI Vehement as Wing Commander, he built an elite squadron
of TIE Interceptor pilots with the moniker of "Silver Death Squadron"; so-named
by the silver wingtips on their craft. Badon was given a personal fighter with a
silver cockpit ball or "eye" in honor of his continued service.
His growing expertise in fighter and capital ship operations led to his
promotion as Executive Officer of the Vehement, a position he held until the
defeat of Director Isard.
Now, Badon commands the Escort Carrier Raptor. The Silver Death Squadron was
reassigned with him and Captain Kreel maintains his personal TIE Advanced
fighter w/ silvered cockpit which he utilizes as his personal shuttle and combat
craft; an escort of Silver Death fighters always present.
Captain Dwin
Xavier
Executive Officer (XO): Commander Rekra Pytram
Young but very talented and although he had tremendous drive, Captain Xavier
does not detect the ambition that had betrayed him many years before. Since his
assignment to the 'Darkness' he had began to really feel like a captain again,
and Pytram was a perfect XO for him, youth and vigor combined with age and
wisdom. Pytram is tall with brown hair and a strong build.
Other NPCs
IHC2 Avenger -
Executive Officer (XO):
Commander
Don'tu Korzomi
(Anomid male, age 47) Commander
Korzomi is an Anomid from a wealthy family of Imperial-sympathizers. Although
most Anomids prefer to avoid conflict, Don'tu felt strongly enough about the
Imperial cause to volunteer for service. He feels a strong bond to the new
Empire, which is far more tolerant toward non-humans. Don'tu is extremely
efficient, and usually keeps to himself while not on duty. All Anomids must wear
vocaliser face-masks, Don'tu is no exception and thusly his voice has a
droid-like resonance to it.
Even though his CO, Caldar Quinn, attended a COMPNOR-regulated school, he never
found science altogether interesting, and took little heed to the xenophobic
lessons taught. The two officers have an amicable relationship of mutual
respect.
