Mychael Ng

After graduating from the Academy he was assigned to anti-pirate duties in the Outer Rim on a corvette.  He was a tactical officer on that ship and served reasonably well, despite the boring nature that accompanies anti-pirate duties.  The most notable action on that cruise was the rescue of a passenger liner from some Corellian pirates.  Then he served another stint as the Executive Officer on a Dreadnaught, the Swiftsure, in the Outer Rim performing more anti-pirate duties.  After he distinguished himself defeating two rebel frigates, when the captain was injured, he was given his promotion to Captain and command of his own ship.   Mychael Ng’s first command was the VSD-I Commandant, which served as a pacification vessel in the Outer Rim. The Commandant was primarily a patrol vessel, keeping the space lanes clear of pirates and making sure the locals weren’t doing anything too out of the ordinary.  It almost seemed as if he wouldn’t see much combat beyond the rare pirate.  He continued in this capacity up until the Battle of Endor.  Captain Ng then was ordered, with his ship, to Endor where they were to join the fleet massing there.  At first all was going well, Ng had managed to destroy an MC-80a, until the disaster with the Executor slamming into the second Death Star.  The remaining ships fell back on Annaj and regrouped and a disillusioned Ng followed.  After the defeat at Endor and serving 5 years around unloyal fools with little hope of victory, Grand Admiral Thrawn returned and restored what was left of Ng's fighting spirit.  Thrawn’s return had been timely for the squabbling warlords had been about to start up another series of pointless internecine wars.  He was promoted from command of the VSD Commandant and moved to the ISD Nemesis, a ship that was part of the grand admiral’s personal armada.  After the unfortunate defeat at Bilbringi and Thrawn's death, Ng took the ISD Nemesis and fled to a rendezvous with his Academy sponsor and old family friend Viktor Mallagant.  Captain Ng distinguished himself on several missions under Lord Admiral Mallagant and received the Palpatine Crescent for a daring boarding action that resulted in the acquisition of vital information.  He was eventually promoted to Line Captain.  He also participated in a campaign that saw a pirate group eliminated and Imperial property returned to its lawful owners.  He participated in another mission (Contents classified).  Finally, after participation in an Imperial war game he was promoted to Vice Admiral.  His current activities are classified for reasons of operational security.
