Capsule: Eriadu is one of the Outer Rim's most active trading ports and the until recently the capital of Seswanna Sector.  It lies on a junction of the Rimma Trade Route and the Hydian Way, as well as lesser routes.  It was a major manufacturing center for Imperial military products until the Empire collapsed.  The New Republic installed a planetary governor until and restricted the sale of weapons, much of its industry.  The New Republic maintains a security force on the planet, as well as many patrolling warships.

Update: The Empire has reclaimed Eriadu and New Republic government has been overthrown.
